Application tracking
Treat every role like an issue in a career OS — not a row that goes stale in a spreadsheet.
Kanban for momentum
See Saved → Applied → Interviewing → Offer at a glance. Drag status when the process moves; open the ticket when you need depth. The board is a view. The ticket is the record.
Everything for one role
JD snapshot, location, remote type, resume used, apply answers with provenance, interviews, notes, and timeline live on the same page. Assisted prepare drops gaps into Action Required on that ticket. The extension writes the same object when you save or confirm apply in the tab.
What a ticket looks like in practice
Say you save a Senior Product Manager role from LinkedIn with the extension. A Career Ticket is created immediately — company, title, location, remote type, and a snapshot of the JD as it existed the day you saved it, since postings get edited or pulled and you want a record of what you actually applied against.
As you move through the process, that same ticket accumulates: the resume version you used, any answers you typed into the apply form (with a note on whether they came from confirmed Career Memory or you typed them fresh), a timeline entry for every status change, and — once an interview gets scheduled — notes and prep tied to that specific role, not scattered across a notes app and three email threads.
Six months later, if a recruiter from a similar company reaches out, you can open that ticket and see exactly what you said about your experience, what the JD asked for, and what you learned — instead of trying to remember whether you already have a good answer for “tell me about a time you scaled a system.”
Applied means you confirmed it
High-confidence apply detection can sync the ticket. Medium and low confidence ask “Did you apply?” Duplicate checks can warn before you submit twice. The pipeline stays honest because the product does not guess.
That sounds small until you have forty cards and no idea which Easy Apply actually sent. Honesty is the feature.
Vs a sheet or a CRM-only tool
A spreadsheet cannot hold a JD and the answers you typed. vs spreadsheet covers that. vs Huntr covers a polished CRM that still expects you to find every job. MyCareerAtlas tickets sit on Career Memory and ATS discovery — the board is not the product, the loop is.
